Late Sunday night after spending part of the afternoon cutting apart a downed tree. Jim started experiencing shortness of breathe. Sharon immediately took him to Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Initial testing indicated that he had suffered a minor heart attack and an angiogram was scheduled for Monday afternoon. Shortly after the angiogram was complete Jim was sent immediately into emergency surgery to perform as many bypasses as possible. 90% of his coronary artery system was blocked. A quadruple bypass was completed around 11:30PM. He has done well overnight and today will be weaned off the ventilator and awakened. His surgeon feels he is much improved and will do well. We appreciate all of your prayers.
