In early September, Jim spent a few days in the hospital because of chest pains and dizzy spells.  After several tests, blood work, MRIs, and a bone marrow biopsy, it was determined that Jim has acute myeloid leukemia (AML).  Unfortunately, because of multiple abnormalities and pre-existing conditions, chemo therapy is not a viable option. 

Jim feels blessed for the life he’s lived and is looking forward to spending as much time as possible with his grandkids, kids, family and friends over the next few weeks.
