While on a fun 'bucket list' Rhine River Cruise trip in Europe with Rachel during their 55th anniversary (after getting to experience ten wonderful days in Switzerland, Germany and on the Rhine River), Jim (age 80 w Parkinson's) became quite ill with pneumonia.  The ambulance met the ship in Gorinchem, Netherlands. ..

FYI - Although you will see 'donate' buttons on the site, those are for the Caring Bridge organization,  with which we are unaffiliated.  Fortunately, Jim and Rachel purchased travel insurance, which is being put to good use!


If Rachel chooses to use this site, she is welcome to.  The family isn't fond of the solicitations for money for the website.
