As I believe you all know, Jill has been bravely battling ovarian cancer for approximately the past 10 years and is now home from a 9 day hospital stay which has left her very weak and unable to communicate easily with all of you.
Therefore, we are using this site to keep family and friends updated and to collect from her dear friends and relatives any thoughts and memories you would like to share with us and with others across the world. It has been difficult to respond to and keep in touch with so many of you who have called, sent in emails, text messages, gifts and other wonderful demonstrations of love and support. By doing so you have enabled Jill to keep up her incredible spirit and to become an inspiration and role model to all who know and love her. For the above reason we thought that this idea would be helpful to you and to Jill, to whom we will certainly read each of your messages or stories.
