Hello dear loved ones,
"Something drastic has to happen," as Jillian says.
For more than 10 years now, bipolar disorder and other diagnoses have paralyzed Jillian and her ability to work, have friends, and enjoy a normal life. You may not know how terrible it is to live with mental illness, but it's a daily struggle. During all these years, we have tried everything to get help from various health professionals. Most were well-meaning, but nothing has clicked. I have done all I can, but I'm a layperson and it's not enough.
Now, we're at rock bottom, so we're trying a different approach and I'm asking for your help.
We're looking at Hundred Acre Homestead, (
http://www.hundredacrehomestead.com/) a "healing farm community for people who are challenged with mental illness or struggling with life’s emotional stress. The Homestead’s mission is about individualized healing and recovery." It seems quite promising and gives us hope.
This approach is expensive, they don't take insurance, and I'm humbly asking for your support.
If there's any possible way that I can pull together the funds to make this happen for Jillian, it will bring my daughter back, and perhaps give her hope of a better life.
Saving Jillian's future — that's what this website is all about.
I'm grateful for any donations possible. Even a dollar will help. Many thanks with love, love, love for you and your help. I, along with our family, appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
Pam
