Jewel Willcox

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated on Jewel's progress as she begins treatment for cancer.

Following a fall and severe back issues in November 2013, Jewel was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in December. At the time of diagnosis, the cancer had already spread to her lymph system, liver, and bone. Her doctor expedited all of the tests and surgery to start her treatment on December 30th. 

The shock of the diagnosis had finally started to lessen and Jewel remains determined to maintain her sense of humor as life adjusts for her. She and her boys have moved in with her parents for the time to ensure support is readily available for all of them.
