On December 29th, our lives were forever changed. Patrick had gone to work as he had everyday. He is a residential framer in the construction community. But this day would be very different from what our daily routine had become. I received a phone call that he had had an accident. He had fallen roughly 12 feet  and I was told that he had hit his head very hard and was en route to the hospital, and this is where our journey begins.
