Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time. 
The journey started back in late September, when I found a lump and realized that wasn't right.  After a Drs. visit, mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy (all in the same week) on Nov. 5th, I got the results over the phone that it was cancer. Definitely shocking, I still felt perfectly fine and was still excersing regularly, and I thought I was perfectly healthy. Then, came more Dr. visits, where "the plan" changed a couple of times, from a lumpectomy to starting chemo instead. But, we feel comfortable with all the Dr.s and nurses in their descisions, and we leave it in God's hand to guide them through my treatment.
