Welcome Friends! The updates I post are for all of you that are lovingly walking beside me during this difficult time. I can feel your arms wrap around me as I write. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!!!

Over my spring break (April 2012), I scheduled several medical appointments that I had putting off for too long. My first appointment was with my oncologist. Since 1994, I have had multiple CT scans for re-checks and annual oncologist visits to make sure my Hodgkins did not come back. At this particular visit, my oncologist "graduated" me from my annual visits. After all, it has been 18 years! Another appointment was to see a dermatologist to check on a few moles. One turned up to be pre-cancerous. I had surgery to have it removed and everything is ok. Another appointment was to see my OB/GYN for an annual appointment. She is the one that found the lump in my left breast. And so my journey begins...

Monday, May 7, 2012 - I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Saturday, May 12, 2012 - I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy
