So for about a year, Jessica had been dealing with weird spells, sporadically. She has been doctoring and trying to figure out what they could be. Her doctor ordered her to have an EEG and an MRI done.  After the EEG had come back normal, they focused on the MRI. The results of the MRI had a mass growth (called Astrocytoma) on the right side of her brain. They scheduled a meeting with a neurosurgeon and ordered many different tests. The result of those tests showed three more little spots around the inside of her brain. She saw three different neurosurgeons at three different hospitals and found one that made her feel at peace and ready to tackle this thing!

Jessica's post from September 22nd, "Update: We just met with the neurosurgeon in mayo. We were very impressed with him. Very smart and very comfortable to talk with. He's done over 2000 surgeries and said his goal is to get 100% of the tumor out but with the way the tumor is curved around a blood vessel he may only be able to get 95% . His plan than is to do a procedure called proton therapy which targets radiation only to the area where tissue remains that he couldn't get. Surgery is tentively set for next Friday the 29th. In God I trust. His plan is always the perfect one, I feel that this is where God is calling me because it gave me the most peace of mind. (Fearless)"

Today is the day, September 29th, Jessica is having her surgery to remove the tumor.
September 30 update Update from Cordell:Jess has her head wrap off. She has swelling and bruising that has shown up on her face. Pray for quick healing of that!
She has been moved to a "regular" room (not ICU) and has eaten a decent dinner tonight. She has also walked around the floor unit, with assistance. What a relief!! ❤ #fearless (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/fearless?source=feed_text&story_id=10212171339176839)

Update on October 4 from mom Sharla, Update on Jess: since she's been home, Jess has been very groggy and tired. The seizure medicine was increased before we left St. Mary's hospital and it has been pretty hard on her. We took her to the hospital in Rock Valley today. They did a CT scan and a couple blood tests; they all turned out good. The only test we're waiting for results on is her drug level test for her seizure medicine which hopefully will be back tomorrow. Please continue to pray for healing and strength.

Update from Jessica October 12 Thank You for all the love and support with cards and your prayers. I'm doing well getting stronger everyday. God has been so faithful through all of this... His plan is still the best plan. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue on this journey (Fearless).
