Hello out there! I'm a wife (to one of the most caring men on this planet), a mother to two boys, a teacher, a farmer, and a lover of mountains, exploring, being physically active, the smell of the first flower in spring, the rustling of leaves in the woods, delicious homemade food, laughing, sending and receiving snail mail, bonfires or camping trips with good friends, old photo albums, and being an active member of my community. I am starting this page with my husband to share our story about coming to grips with a recurrence of cancer, to relay some of the science behind it, to share the process of decision making and interpreting what's happening, and to open up a space for folks to reach out so we aren't managing so many e-mail and text chains.
