Greetings friends and family. As many of you know (or will know now), Jerry will facing open heart surgery in November to repair a wiley little chordae tendineae otherwise known as the strong, fibrous strings that attach to the leaflets (or cusps) of the mitral valve in the heart; these strings keep the valve functioning properly which.....is not happening at the moment. Surgery is scheduled for November 8 (yes, election day!) assuming he stays well. So welcome to our CaringBridge website where it will be used to keep family and friends updated in one place.
