Jerry Weatherford

If you know Jerry, and most of you do, you know he's an active, I mean very active, fun loving, Family man.  There isn't a single thing he wouldn't do for his family, friends and those close to him.  It takes a lot to get this guy to slow down, take a break, trust me.  


A few things happened that prompted Dad to a few hospital visits, resulting in a colonoscopy.  We found out he had colon cancer, which has since been removed.  We are waiting for some additional information, to see exactly where we are in the process.  


Dad will begin Chemotherapy at the end of November, which he will endure for 6 months.  There may be some times Dad needs to take a break.  Slow down.  Maybe he'll need to work a few cross word puzzles, catch up on a good book, snuggle up with some warm tea and a fuzzy robe (yeah right).  I am most certain he will get bored.  You may need to pay him a visit, stop by with some yummy dessert, tell some good ole fashioned stories to get a good laugh.  Send him an email, call, text, send a card!  However you choose, the support from friends and family are always welcome and appreciated.
