Jerry was admitted to UCHealth Memorial Hospital Colorado Springs, CO on Sunday, October 21, 2018 with intestinal pain. Testing and exploratory (my term) surgery initially indicated a bowel obstruction, but eventually lead to another surgery to remove parts of his large intestine (ascending & sigmoid) on Monday afternoon. He is severly ill and will require several more surgeries. Although he is able to respond to questions and commands, he is heavily medicated to keep his vital signs stable. He is on a ventilator and will possibly have another surgery this afternoon (Tuesday).  This is a very serious situation and will be a long process for recovery. Please pray for Jerry, his wife Cynthia, their daughter Shelby Bedwell and her family, as well as the rest of our family as we support them during this difficult time. Thanks. Gene Gallagher.
