As most of you know last August when we received the news that Jerry had liver cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma ) and would need a liver transplant - We knew that God was in control and we would continue to live our life to the fullest. We prayed that whatever happened it would be God's Will.
September 11, 2017 We received the call 13 months after being diagnosed with HCC that there was a liver available that was a perfect match.
September 12, 2017 The liver transplant surgery started in the late evening and was completed in the mid morning. September 13. (11 hour surgery.)
