In 2009 I was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. God has given me 9 1/2 years of being cancer free. In January I found a lump in my arm. Biopsy of the mass revealed that the cancer has returned. The Lord has been faithful and my amazing church Lane Prairie Baptist in Joshua Texas has prayed great prayers of faith and supported my family every step of the way. It has been my joy to serve the Lord in the ministry for over 48 years. I believe God is not through with me yet. The Lord has allowed me to serve as Pastor at Lane Prairie for over 21 years. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. That is my desire through all this journey. I know I will never be alone. The Lord said He will never leave me or forsake me. Hebrews 13:5. He will guide me through this valley. Psalm 23:4. I am standing in the promises of God’s Word. I will start treatment Tuesday,March 10 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas. I humbly ask you to pray for me. Lastly, I am fighting this battle for my beautiful bride of 48 years, my 3 children and 9 grandchildren they are the joy of my life.
