Welcome to the Caring Bridge Site for Jerry. To keep things more private, off of facebook and give centralized updates to our family and friends, we have decided to bring Jerry’s story here. We are hoping to tell his story and give regular updates on Jerry’s condition, how he is doing and what the next steps are as often as possible.
As many of you already know, Jerry suffered an Aneurysm deep in his brain that connects what has been detailed to all of us as the “main transport system for blood between the spinal cord and the brain” by his doctors. This serious condition was caused by what the doctors think Jerry has had for most of his life without him even knowing it, Fibromuscular dysplasia. There is no cure for the disease or clear way to recover from what has already occurred. Jerry’s family is speaking with his doctors and nurses around the clock to better understand the treatment options and the next steps forward.
