We appreciate your support and words of encouragement.   On Thursday, November 12, something caused Jerry to fall to the floor.  As he landed, the back of his head hit the floor causing a a brain bleed. He was taken immediately to Regions Hospital and has been there since then. The medical team has not been able to understand what might have made him go down in the first place. When he arrived at the hospital his blood pressure was very high and it has been a struggle to get that stabilized. It all has left him with an expressive aphasia, which means he is not able to express himself verbally. Today he is moving from the trauma unit of the hospital to a transitional rehab unit.
