While undergoing an angiogram test at the Avera Heart Hospital on Tuesday, January 26, Jerry suffured a stroke on the left side of his brain. With hopes of a surgical procedure to intervene, he and Kathy were flown to St. Mary's Hospital at Mayo. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it was determined to be too dangerouse to perform the surgery. He was placed and remains in ICU while the Neurological Team monitors him.
