Jerry Bach

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. Since Jerry doesn't have Facebook, I thought this would be a better way to update everyone and for you to leave  your support and words of hope and encouragement for Jerry in a place where he can see them!  A quick summary for those who may not know.....Jerry has polycystic kidney disease and his kidneys aren't functioning at capacity. He has been on the kidney transplant list for 4 years and receiving dialysis for a little over a year. Saturday afternoon we got a call that there was a potential kidney for Jerry from an out-of-state donor who suffered a brain injury. The donor and Jerry are a 100% match (which occurs in 1 in 55,000 cases!) 
Jerry has stated that he feels bad for the donor and the donor's family but feels better that he will be able to send the family a letter later on after transplant. Thank you for visiting!!
