After lunch on Sunday, January 6th, Jenny said that she had a sudden, splitting headache. I immediately took her to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a ruptured brain aneurysm. She went by ambulance to the U of M, where she underwent surgery to repair the aneurysm on Monday, January 7th. The surgery was highly successful. She will remain in the ICU for at least two weeks, so that they can closely watch her for signs of a stroke, which is the immediate priority.
Her care team is optimistic that she will make a full recovery after 4-6 months of rehab. Please pray for Jenny's health and continued strength.
