Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Jennifer was initially diagnosed with neutropenia in January of this year. This required frequent monitoring with MD appointments and blood work as the low white blood cell count persisted. She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on March 27th 2019 following a bone marrow biopsy. She was admitted to the hospital on March 31, 2019 for chemotherapy. Anticipated inpatient stay is 28 days. Following the inpatient stay will be a week of rest and then outpatient chemo for a few more months.
