Jennifer Powell Jennifer's Fight

On January 7,2016 Jennifer was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to her liver.  In June 2016 the cancer had shrunk with chemo and Jennifer was put in a smaller does of chemo as maintenance. In November 2016 Jennifer had a pet scan and we learned that the cancer had started to grow in her colon and Liver again. In December 2016 full Chemo has started up again. In July 2017 Jennifer had another pet scan and we found out the cancer was still growing in her Liver and Lymph nodes. At this time Chemo is no longer an option we went for a Consult with Mayo Clinic end of July. The consult at Mayo we found that the only option was to take a pill to help slow the cancer down. We are at the end of that treatment.  We are living each day at a time with love and prayers as a family.
