Our hockey/softball playing, Mamabird dynamo Jennie got thrown a curveball about 14 days ago. She started feeling a bit fatigued and running out of breath. After some quick consultation with Dr. Mike C in Ned, he had her go down to BCHS and they ended up admitting her. Turns out her bone marrow has not been producing red & white blood cells and platelets.
We transferred down to Presbyterian St Lukes under the care of the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute, who has experience with this condition. This site is to try and keep folks up to date on our progress. For now, please do not send flowers or gifts to hospital - its a sterile facility. More info on how to help below.
