I am a mom of 3 great kids. A boy Kam and twin girls Lauren and Morgan. I’ve been married to my soul mate Shane for 15 years on 11-11-2020.

In January 2020 I found a lump in my left breast. I had a successful and passing mammogram 3 weeks prior to finding the lump! I almost blew it off but then at an annual appointment with my primary, which is my sister Nikki and she scheduled an ultrasound.
On 2-14-2020 I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma stage 2 and DCIS stage 1 in my left breast. On 4-9-2020 I had a double lumpectomy where 2 tumors 8 mm and 28 mm plus 8 lymph nodes removed. After surgery, 4 lymph nodes tested positive for cancer and cancer was found in tumor margin tissues.
On 6-1-2020 I start chemo which will be 8 bi-weekly rounds of AC and Taxol.
Then potentially a mastectomy, 35 radiation treatments, and a hysterectomy.

I think one day this will only be a chapter in my life that i think back on and say wow I made it through Cancer!
