Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  In early May, 2020, we learned Jeff has a recurrence of an extremely rare solitary fibrous tumor in his pelvis that metastasized, or spread, through the blood stream to his lungs.  The fist tumor was removed in 2007.  At the time of diagnosis of recurrence, Jeff was not experiencing any symptoms or discomfort from the pelvic tumor or lung nodules.  They were discovered as a result of a routine chest x-ray.  Upon receiving a dire prognosis from MD Anderson, Jeff sought another opinion at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NY and simultaneously embarked on a personal journey of pursuing self-healing of the cancer.   Jeff has since undergone multiple surgeries and some radiation treatment to address the tumors identified in 2020 and others discovered later.  Though it has been a challenging road to travel, Jeff, his family, and friends still see a path to healing.  Along the way, countless unexpected blessings have occurred providing encouragement that he can achieve remission.   We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
