On Thursday June 16, 2016, Jeff was involved in a single motorcycle accident in which he was seriously injured. Jeff was then airlifted to the hospital because of his extensive injuries.  He sustained a broken neck, back, wrist, nose, and fractured sternum.  Jeff was very blessed to not have received any brain or neurological injuries.  He has feeling in and can move all extremities. He also had a lacerated spleen and several lacerations to his face and upper body.  On Friday, June 17th, Jeff had surgery to put a plate and pin in his left wrist and had a halo and back brace fitted for the neck and back injuries.  After a week in the hospital, it was decided that Jeff would need back surgery to fuse the spine with rods and pins to provide more strength and stability because the halo and back brace were not providing enough support.  The swelling and lacerations are healing nicely but the back injury will take much longer to heal.  Please continue to keep Jeff in your thoughts and prayers during this recovery time.
