Well, here we go...Jeffro was diagnosed with AML on Friday, April 14th .  Basically, he did not have any symptoms and even painted the entire inside of a house with this blood cancer inside him.  He looks great and feels great minus being a little more tired than normal the last couple of weeks.  Before I go any further, let me explain a little bit of the medical terminology lingo:

AML = Acute Myeloid Leukemia (basically his white blood cells are growing too rapidly and are interfering with the production of normal blood cells)

WBC = White Blood Cell Count (measured in thousands and help fight infection)

Long story short, he went in for a couple of lab tests with his primary doc on Tuesday, April 11th and the next day he got called back in with less than perfect test results.  Jeffro's WBC count was at a 69 (thousands that is) which is extremely elevated (normal WBC's are between 3.8 and 9.8).  Now here we go with our story, stay tuned.
