Long story short, on March 30, 2017, Jeff went into the hospital for a very large kidney stone - after several visits to the Marborough Medical Center in the middle of the night - they finally admitted him to Middlesex Hospital. At that time, they found two nodules on both of his lungs while doing a CT scan of his kidneys. Two lung biopsies later (one at Middlesex and one at Dana Farber/Brigham & Women's) they determined that he has what appears to be stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. After several appointments with oncologists both in Connecticut and Boston as well as working with a naturopath, Jeff will be going in for surgery to remove the three nodules on his lungs at Brigham and Women's Hospital on Friday, August 4th. Please send all positive thoughts and prayers that they will get the nodules and Jeff will be cancer free when we walk out of the hospital.
