Many people have said that we should start a Caring-bridge site so that there is one place everyone can go to see whats up with Jeff's appointments, treatments and how he/we are doing.  What a great idea!!!!  So here it is......

I am so not a journalist and do not even know where to start with something like this, so please be kind LOL!  I tend to ramble!  LOL

First of all we want to thank all our friends and family!!  We are so lucky to have so many incredible  caring, generous and loving people in our lives!  

I will try to post everyday or at least every other day to let people know how Jeff is doing during his treatments and how he is feeling in general.  

Many people have asked what they can do for us.   What means the most to us is the little things that count, praying for us, being a shoulder to cry on when times get rough, not getting advice unless we ask for it and when the time comes just asking if you can come over and play games or watch a movie to make not being able to leave the house a little less unbearable AND just being there!  Jeff has an awesome care team, we could not have asked for anything better!  So as far as treatments, chemo and radiation and what to expect they have done an amazing job and could not ask for anything better.  Many people have said we should get a second opinion.  To this we add that the type of his cancer (and yes we have done our research) is pretty straight forward as to what we need to do to beat this and we want to get this taken care of ASAP!!

Jeff has been a musician for a long time and LOVES what he does!!  It is not only a job or a past time to him, but a passion and something that he is extremely loves and is good at.  I am in awe when I listen to him practicing a new song, all he has to do is listen to a song in order to know how to play it on his bass and what harmony's need to be in place to make the song awesome!  He is an entertainer, a musician and has a great sense of humor!!!  

He is so worried that he will not be able to return to something that gives him such joy and to a new band that had their first gig just weeks before all this came in to play and now it will be another thing he will not be to do right now!!!

CANCER SUCKS!!!!  

We have seen the Chemo-Dr, the radiation oncologist, he has had a G-Tube and port placed, gone without food for 48 hours due to back to back tests and procedures and looking at his life being changed for the rest of his/our life forever!!!

His top priority is that he is worried about me!  How did I get so lucky to have found someone that loves you unconditionally and will always be there for you no matter what!!  He is dealing with a life changing event in his life and what he is concerned with most is if his wife is going to be okay!!!  Coming in strong second is not losing his teeth!!!

Right now we still do not know the results of the PET scan results from 12/5 or when he will be starting treatments.  
We will hopefully find out today, Monday December 10, what the scan shows!
