Jeff Ellston

Jeff has been in the hospital since April 28th.  He was first diagnosed with vertigo and taken to the hospital on the 28th with stroke like symptoms.  He stayed in Florida Hospital for 3 weeks without a diagnosis when he was moved in our car to Tampa General. 


He has had several tests and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  Coupled with this are some neurological issues that have affected his speech, ability to walk, and other motor skills.   The good news is--- he is in TGH and getting excellent care.    He has had 5 rounds of plasma exchange and 2 rounds of chemo.  He has tolorated these treatments well and are very hopeful for his recovery. 


He will be attending rehab at TGH where he will be busy getting speech, occupational and physical therapy.  It will require a lot of determination and perseverance on Jeff's part which we all know he has.
