After a three-month diagnostic journey following an elevated white cell count found on a routine blood draw, I was diagnosed in January 2021 with T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL). This is a rare, t-cell leukemia. My treatment began on February 8th with a 12-week regimen of immunotherapy infusions three days a week. Following this, I will receive a stem cell transplant.
I am entering this journey feeling well and physically strong.
Fall 2023 update: After a successful bone marrow transplant and 2+ years in remission, I have relapsed and begun the journey to my second transplant.
