On October 4th, 2016 I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) in my left breast. I had been having a shooting pain through my left breast for a couple of months. I stepped up self exams and boom...felt a lump. I immediately went to the doctor, they sent me for a mammogram, they did a biopsy on the lump and one lymph node. They came back positive for IDC, cancer!
UGH So the journey begins to kick butt and get rid of this disease in my body. A crappy bump in the road of life, but nothing I can't get through with the love and support of my family and friends. I will continue to update this site so that people who want to be in the know on how things are going can do just that.
