In early February 2019, Jeanne was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Carcinoma Cancer. This is a very aggressive cancer that travels through the body from where the originating cancer was located.  The cancer affected 5 areas: 1) originating organ (unknown), 2) liver which has a large mass, 3) both lungs, which are spreading there causing shallow breathing, 4) bones (including 2 ribs, right hip and spine) , 5) 5 spots on her brain.

After a valiant struggle with this disease, Jeanne was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 11, 2019, three months and six days after receiving her diagnosis.
