Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thursday March 21st Jeanne will be going under an intense brain surgery that will take a lot of time to heal from. A few years ago she sustained an injury to her artery that runs up her neck, this affected how much blood was flowing to the brain. Only 1% of the cases that obtain this serious of an injury survive it, we are so thankful to God that he was faithful. But this injury resulted in a significant loss of blood flow to the left side of her brain. This resulted in impaired speech, excruciating headaches and it got in the way of simple everyday tasks such as walking or tying her shoe. A few months ago during thanksgiving they discovered this injury while she was in the hospital for an infection. From that point up until now she has had many tests and sampling done to try to figure out what was truly going on and how they could heal it and heal it fast. A few weeks ago they decided that surgery was the only option for her to live a normal life again.  So tomorrow morning at 7:30 am an amazing team from the university of minnesota will start the procedure that will hopefully heal her. Please keep my mom in your prayers as well as the whole surgical team. Raise a hallelujah is Jeannes song of choice when it comes to how much she trusts the lord.
