Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Jeanne's journey began with a routine CT scan in which they discovered spots on her pancreas and liver. After many trips to the Grafton Hospital for more tests and biopsies, her oncologist diagnosed her with inoperable, non curable, Stage IV adenocarcinoma of the pancreas which has also metasisized in the liver and endiometral lining of the uterus. Her only option of treatment is to have very aggressive chemo treatments of four different drugs every other week lasting 4-5 hours each time. She will then continue the treatment at home for 46 hours with a pump infusion. Jeanne made the very difficult decision to immediately retire from teaching after 45 years in the teaching ministry.
With the Lord by her side, thus begins her difficult journey.
