Welcome to Jeanne Arnold's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep our family and friends updated in one place.
Jeanne fell in her home on or around November 26th. She was taken by ambulance to Presbyterian Plano Hospital where she had surgery for a femur repair (to most of us known as a broken leg). It was a bad vertical break; the femur is the largest bone in the leg.

Jeanne stayed at the hospital until Friday, Dec 1st, when she was released and transported from Plano to Dallas' Presbyterian Village North - their Rehab Center.  She is beginning Physical & Occupational Therapy and is expected to stay there, minimally, 1 month. We are not sure what lies ahead beyond the present time. Among several concerns, keeping her lungs free from infection is a big one. She is very tired and quite weak as one might expect.

We will continue to post updates as we have them.
If you would like to send Jeanne a card, please address them to
