Jean has been having terrible health issues for the past year. She was admitted to the hospital Wednesday, January 9th, when her visit to the doctor revealed a blood clot in her lung. In the hospital, tests were done and she has further complications. A nodule in her other lung and a mass in her colon. Mass is a polite term for cancer. Wednesday, January 16th, she underwent surgery to remove the mass. She had 6 inches of her colon removed. It was a risky surgery because of her weak heart. She has come through the surgery and is in a lot of pain. At this time she does not want visitors, just lots of prayers.
