This is my bridge that we will walk across together as we take a new journey in my life.  On June 19, 2013, I was called to the Gyn's office to discuss the results of my biopsy.  Uterine cancer.  The results of a CT scan on June 24th showed that it appears to be contained to the uterus.  Thru a referral to Iowa City OB/Gyn oncology, I was given a little more of a curve.  I had a rare type called "Serous" uterine cancer.  A hysterectomy is in my near future.  This is my new story and a story I want to share with as many people to help them, help educate and and avenue for me to express what's happening.  It's also a story that will show how my Lord has been with me even before this whole new experience for me existed.  In future posts, I will provide a little more detail about how it was discovered and some of the other tidbits of information that makes me "one rare bird".  :)

Added: 6/19/2018  I am officially a 5 year survivor.  This journey has been educational in so many ways.  I hope as you read my story, you will laugh, cry, groan but I hope you will be encouraged and you will praise the Lord at His incredible goodness.  I am truly blessed!
