Sue Moore

Our beloved Sue Moore and my BFF from forever has been dealt a very difficult blow.  She was diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian Cancer in June 2016.  She had just left her job at the time, and instead of looking for her next career move, she found herself dealing with this health crisis.  After several surgeries and an unusually difficult and lengthy stay in the hospital, she did the chemo thing, did the hair loss thing and after a long, tough road, she got back on her feet.  She was technically in remission!

Looking snazzy as ever with her new silver locks, she was excited and grateful to be able to move forward and begin her next chapter.  Unfortunately, that was not meant to be.   Although she was feeling great, some tests results were indicating that all was not right.  And sure enough, another tumor was found.  The treatment for this rare tumor is far more serious and debilitating. She’ll be getting high-dose chemo and a stem cell transplant, which has an estimated 50%-60% cure rate. The treatments will be so hard on her body that she’ll need round-the-clock care.  So, in addition to rides to the doctor and hospital, we need to help her out financially.  While she does have insurance, it does not cover everything including the round-the-clock home care she will need.  She needs prayers, good vibes, and she needs help with these expenses. It is the best way we can support her!  We have set up a GoFundMe linked t this site for this purpose.

We are planning a fundraiser for Sue on Saturday, Sept 30 in Seaside Heights, NJ.  More details to follow.
