Jay learned last Wednesday (July 8th) that a recent CT scan showed a large tumor on his left kidney. The doctor indicated that the kidney needed to be removed. The following day a urologist in Wenatchee referred him to University of Washington Medical Center for surgery and treatment. Jay's surgery is currently scheduled for July 16. Jay and Barbara are temporarily basing out of Seattle.
