Welcome to Jay's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated on Jay's progress throughout his transplant journey. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
Jay began his journey in July 2020 when he decided to travel to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona to try to qualify to have his name placed on their lung transplant list. He completed 10 days of medical testing including a heart catheterization. Jay was given the good news on May 6, 2021 that he had been approved to be listed for a lung transplant.
