Looking back over the past recent months, Mom, Jayne Robertson, has not been feeling good and she thinks it started back at the 2011 Holiday time. She has been getting easily fatigued, a little short of breath with activity, increased urinary incontinence, decreased appetite/feeling full quickly, increased acid reflux, abdominal distention and anemia.  She has had 3 abdominal/pelvic ultrasounds and 1 abdominal/pelvic CT scan.

Ultrasounds 2,3 and CT scan all showed Ascites (free moving fluid in the abdomen area) that is not normal and can be associated with cancer. With all the tests compiled now, the tests have come back with Ovarian Cancer. They suspect is has metastasized to the sigmoid colon, Omentum flap and 3 lymph nodes near the kidneys, aorta, and vena cava.

At this point, the gyn/oncologist is staging the cancer at a 3-c. It is suspected the cancer could have been there a year ago.  The plan at this point, is surgery first and Chemotherapy next. The surgery date is still being decided.  We'll keep you posted and information comes forth. Please keep our mom in your prayers for God's healing touch & God's mercy for our family.
