***We are setting up this page primarily to keep family and friends filled in on our story.  We will regularly keep up journals as our journey unfolds.  More than anything we ask for your prayers.  We welcome help, but please do not feel any obligation.  We do ask that you join us in prayer***

Early in September Jaynee noticed that she had a relatively large lump in her breast, she thought it was likely just a blocked milk duct.  We weren't concerned about it initially, but chose to rush her next check-in for Zeke (Baby #3) and ask about it.  We were told that it was likely just related to her pregnancy and that we shouldn't need to worry.  Two weeks later she  had another appointment and asked about it once again.  At that point it was decided that it was concerning given its size and because it had not gone away. She went in for an ultrasound and biopsy on Friday, September 28th.

On Monday, October 1st we received a call from the doctor telling us that Jaynee had Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  We were told that there are 3 grades of cancer (not to be confused with stages).  We were told that Jaynee has grade 3, the most aggressive grade.

The upcoming months are scary.  It is easy to worry and wonder about all the what-ifs.  But we are choosing to trust in God.  We are hesitant to say that it is God's plan for us to be facing this, but we know that God can use it for good.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

We have a difficult journey ahead of us, but we know that we are not alone.  God is with us through it all, and we find great comfort in that.  We also know that we have so many family and friends who are willing to help and support us, and we thank each and every one of you who are willing and able to help.

Please continue to pray for Jaynee and Zeke through this whole process.
