Jay Muller

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As most of you know Jay has been dealing with illness since late last year. So many kind friends and family members are interested in keeping up with his progress I decided that I would create this page. So welcome and Hugh Thank You! to all who have been with us on this journey so far.

In October last year Jay had an infection in his toe and it was decided that the toe had to be amputated. That amputation did not heal and the next step was amputation of half of his foot, . In November the decision was made to amputate to about 3 inches below his knee and again it did not heal and Jay had a terrible reaction to all the medications and was in ICU for more than a week.  In  December  he had a revision done on the leg but as of yesterday we received news that this amputation is not healing as they would like. We await further information on what our next steps will be.
