Welcome to Jaydens Journey! Haley and Alex are going to try to update everyone each night with what went on during the day and a picture every now and then to show progress. We are so thankful for the love and support from all of our friends and family. As most of you know by now, Jayden has been diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Jayden will be in the hospital for two weeks to a month, then we will be reasoned to go home. Once we are home we will have to come back and forth a couple days a week to the clinic and then we will be related to only have to come once a month. Jayden will be out of daycare for at least 6 months and his treatments will take 3 years. Jayden will have to be under supervision at all times, if he was to get a fever while we are at home, we have a 30 minute window on calling his doctor and getting him into the closest ER possible or it can become deadly. Once we are home we will also have to keep him under quarantine basically, he is at high risk of getting infections and we must keep everything clean and sanitized at all times. As we are transitioning into the new life we have been faced with, we are going to ask for everyone to call or text Haley or Alex before they show up to the hospital. We have to keep an air machine running constantly in his room and the door closed at all times. With everyone coming to see him we have limited amount of visitors at a time and all must check in with a nurse before entering the room. If this policy is not followed, then we will have to have everyone wear a mask and gown while visiting and may have to cut out visitors for a while. We ask that when you are here, you do not touch over Jayden much as he is at high risk for infections. We are heartbroken but trying to stay strong for our sweet baby. #JJSTRONG
