Other than a nagging pain in his abdomen for a few months, Jay feels fine.  He works hard around the garden, takes long dog walks and works in the Arboretum.  When the pain didn't go away, our doctor ordered some scans which turned up a tumor on his pancreas.  What a devastating surprise.  Since then, we have been meeting with doctors and doing research to determine the best course of treatment.  We are very grateful for the wonderful support of family and friends.  It is very important to us.  I don't want this website to be a substitute for meaningful phone calls and conversations but it is a way to make sure anyone who is interested knows what's going on.  So please keep in touch.
