We ask for faith, grace and strength as we begin our unexpected journey with Jay's diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, determined on March 30, 2022. Jay faces a tough road ahead, and we ask you—our family, friends, and community—to accompany us. Though we know the way will be uncertain, we are immeasurably grateful that we have you in our corner to help bear the load.

We have been overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and encouragement you have given to Jay and to all of us already. Please know how much we appreciate your thoughts, prayers, kind gestures, coverage at work, stories that make us smile, and warm wishes.
