Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Lindsay and I got to welcome Jaxon Wednesday morning at about 1:45AM. Lindsay was checked into the labor and delivery section of the hospital on Wednesday night, Oct. 27 with high blood pressure found out she was having minor contractions. They got it under control with some medicine. Sent us in our way. Sunday Halloween night (30 weeks and 4 days into pregnancy) we check back in with high blood pressure again. Doctors told us they want Lindsay to stay in the labor and delivery section of the hospital until she gave birth. They said since there are some complications (gestation diabetics, high blood pressure and preeclampsia) they were going to have her deliver early at week 34. Every shift change the nurses monitor baby with sensors on Lindsays belly. Well Tuesday night at approx 8:00PM shift change nurse didn’t get much response from Jaxon and Lindsay said she hadn’t felt him kick lately. So they got an ultra sound at about 11:45PM… fast forward about 2 hours… and we (Lindz Benthin and I) present to you Jaxon Benthin (haven’t decided on middle name yet). At 9 weeks early doctors are very pleased with how he’s doing. We are VERY excited to become mom and dad!!!
