Whoo hoo...praise God I'm getting a new kidney!!  The miracle is here. February 11th around 4pm my new kidney will be here from a young lady in Maryland, where someone I do not even know is giving me something very few are able, let alone willing, to give. My life will for ever be changed because of the grace of God and the love of a total stranger.  The transplant will be at the University of Minnesota - 500 Harvard St SE, Minneapolis MN - Surgery Unit 3C.  I will be there for 3-7 days after surgery for recovery.

I was born with polycystic kidney disease (a hereditary disease) and over the past 5 years my health has significantly declined because of it.  I was put on the transplant list at the University of Minnesota in April of 2018 and at that time was also enrolled in a nation-wide "matched pairs" group. Yesterday I found out that a person in Florida decided to give a kidney out of the goodness of their heart and that kidney is going to Maryland where 2 people are unmatched for transplant. One person is getting the kidney from Florida and their friend is giving their kidney to me. What an amazing gift!  In record time too. I've only been on the list for less than 2 years...total miracle.

Thanks to so many people who have been praying, supporting, and encouraging me through all these years.
Praise Jesus for the answer to prayer and keeping me strong through all of this!!
